museum trip

This Tuesday our class went on a trip to the museum to learn about the hei tiki. It's meaning and making our own ones first we looked at the difference between the tiki and the hei tiki. the hei tiki is when it is a necklace and the tiki is when it's a normal tiki that is not a necklace. Then we had a look at the history of the tiki and someone who when the British came  she guided them around new Zealand and around mount Tarawhera after  the guide told us about that person we had a look at one of hers tiki's that are over 100 years old then we got into groups of 4 to 5 people . then the tour guide got out some tiki's that are not to valuable  to the museum and feel them. After that we made our own tiki's out of felt and glue .

adaptation game

 

this week we had to make a board game for the juniors to play with at wet lunch times. I made this game with my 2 friends Liam , Ryan and me  since it was for the juniors we decided to avengers .  the game was originally monopoly the game took about 90 minutes to make and we drawled and write mostly everything except the infinity gauntlet. when we got to the money that was quite hard but  we made it out of wallpaper. the board that we put everything on was made of cardboard, glue and staples.

today we had top draw a drawing for our re book that involves the sacred heart mass this week as you can see in the top there are things that say what we can draw. I did the cross and the fire
